Evaluation of the speech and quality of life at the rehabilitated stages in maxillofacial patients

本前瞻性研究的目的是探讨上颌切除术患者在术前、术后即刻手术闭孔和术后明确闭孔时的语言预后和生活质量的变化。提示即刻手术闭孔能使患者最终闭孔处的语言功能恢复到术前水平。各康复阶段的生活质量评分存在差异，各康复阶段生活质量评分的变化方式也存在差异。

The purpose of this prospective study was to investigate the speech outcome and the changes of the quality of life in maxillectomy patients at the presurgical stage, postsurgical stage with immediate surgical obturator and postsurgical stage with definitive obturator. It was suggested that the immediate surgical obturator be able to recover patient's speech at the definitive obturator and also the preoperative condition level. It was found that there were a difference in the scores of the QOL by a stage of the recovery and it was also found that the ways of change of the QOL scores were different by each stage.
