Our purpose of the investigation was to define the meanings of ""Discovery of Old icons"" in early 20 century Russia and to understand the process that make Old icons the object of exchange, the object of science, the object of aesthetic creativity and the cultural properties that nation protects in the museums. As a result of the survey we published a bulletin with a timetable of historical and cultural facts.

我们此次调查的目的是界定20世纪初俄罗斯“旧圣像的发现”的含义，了解旧圣像在博物馆中成为交换对象、科学对象、审美创造对象和国家保护文化财产的过程。作为调查的结果，我们发布了一份公告，其中包含历史和文化事实的时间表。
