Legible electric Information Boards for Hearing Impaired

为了探索如何从电子信息板显示器上为听力障碍者提供易于理解的信息，我们对听力障碍学生和听力正常学生进行了一项实验，测量他们在阅读滚动显示的句子时的眼睛运动。结果发现，听力受损的人比听力正常的人更有可能在阅读信息的同时沿着句子的滚动方向移动他们的眼睛，当板显示一行名词（地名）时，这种差异特别明显。

In an effort to explore the ways of providing the hearing-impaired persons with easily-understandable information from the electric information board display, we have conducted an experiment with hearing-impaired students and with hearing students to measure the movement of their eyes while reading the sentences in scrolling display. As the result, the hearing-impaired persons were found more likely to read the information while moving their eyes in the scrolling direction of the sentence than the hearing persons, of which difference was particularly evident when the board was displaying a row of nouns (geographical names).
