This study discussed how attitudes toward "teaching" and "learning" in the practice of apprenticeship have been changed by the rise of a methodology using staff notation and etudes, together with the modern educational perspective inherent in it.In Iran, music was traditionally passed on orally. With the introduction of western music, however, textbooks such as Dastur-e Tar(1921), which appeared with the visualization of music, significantly changed traditional music pedagogy. This type of textbook initiated a new stage of knowledge transmission in modern educational sense which provided more specific, direct, and systematic instruction, within the traditional apprentice system in which each student raised questions and sought answers for himself.

本研究探讨了学徒制实践中对“教”和“学”的态度如何因使用五线谱和练习曲的方法的兴起而发生变化，以及其中固有的现代教育观点。在伊朗，音乐传统上是口头传授的。然而，随着西方音乐的引入，以音乐形象化为代表的《达斯图-塔尔》（Dastur-e Tar，1921年）等教材的出现，极大地改变了传统的音乐教学法。这类教科书开创了现代教育意义上的知识传播的新阶段，在传统的学徒制中，每个学生都提出问题，寻求答案，提供更具体，直接和系统的指导。
