Many Several manuscripts written in Medieval China was excavated from Chinese North-Eastern area centering on Dunhuang and Turfan. Previous studies found the several purpose of contract and official documents, and mainly focused on comparing texts between excavated books and those handed down to nowadays.However usage and purpose of many excavated books in historical situation has not drawn much attention. This study analysed on Practice books excavated from Dunhuang from Tang to Five dynasties era, and evaluated the class of the transcribes and the readership chronologically.
