Development of solution tools to support the decision-making on safety plans

通过三年的安全计划制定活动，我们在以下各个领域做出了贡献。(1)收集和分析以下数据：铁路事故和维修，2011年东北地震的搜索和救援行动。(2)提出急诊医疗设施安全问题、搜寻问题、设施配置问题之建模与求解方法。(3)日本与外国的交通网、铁路网、电力网、贸易网等基础网络的研究及网络损耗分析。通过以上工作，我们开发了一些计算机辅助规划系统。我们还赞助了日本运筹学会的会议和研究会议，以交流专业人士对上述主题的意见。

Through our activities on safety-plan making for three years, we contributed to the following individual field. (1) Data-gathering and data-analysis on the followings: railway accident and maintenance, the search and rescue operation in the 2011 Tohoku earthquake. (2) Proposition of modeling and solution methodology for the followings: security problem in facilities, search problem, facility allocation problem in emergency medicine. (3) Research on infra-networks such as transportation net, railway net, electric power net and trade net between Japan and foreign countries and analysis on attrition on networks. Through our activities above, we developed some computer-aided planning systems for the problems. We also sponsored a conference for the Operations Research Society of Japan and research meetings to exchange opinion of professionals about the topics above.
