The selective synthesis and spectral properties of novel fluorescent compounds based on pyrene.were carried out in the present research projects. We have succeeded to synthesize novel pyren-based organic light emiting materials in the present research. The present work gives some insight into the molecular design of pyrene-based host emitters for high efficiency OLEDs.
