Study on circularly-polarized multi-band microstrip antenna for next generation ubiquitous communication

本研究提出了两种用于圆极化的多波段天线。其中一种是带有一对l型狭缝的方形微带天线（MSA），另一种是带有两对曲柄狭缝的方形微带天线。通过仿真，阐明了天线的工作原理和特性。根据本文的设计方法，设计了GPS应用天线。两种天线在GPS波段具有良好的圆极化性能。

In this study, two multiband-antennas for circular polarization are proposed. One of them is a square microstrip antenna (MSA) with one pair of L-shaped slits and the other is a square MSA with two pairs of crank slits. The operational principles and the antenna characteristics are clarified by simulations. The antennas are designed for GPS application by the design procedures obtained in this study. The two antennas have good performances in circular polarization at the GPS bands.
