Serum analysis of patients with Kawasaki disease using proteomic approaches

我们研究了川崎病患者血清中是否有与内皮细胞发生反应的独特抗体的可能性。我们利用2D-DGE(二维荧光差示凝胶电泳法)对患者血清进行蛋白质组学分析，发现患者有几种独特的抗体与内皮细胞中表达的蛋白质发生反应。经酶联免疫吸附试验定量分析，川崎病患者血清中的一种抗体含量较高。自身抗体的产生可能是川崎病发病的基础

We investigated the possibility that sera in patients with Kawasaki disease has unique antibody reacting to endothelial cells. We performed proteomic analysis using sera by 2D-DIGE(2 dimensional Fluorescence Difference Gel Electrophoresis), and found that patients have several unique antibodies which react to proteins expressed in endothelial cells. By quantitative analysis by ELISA assay, patients with Kawasaki disease have higher amount of one of the antibody. Generation of the auto-antibody may underlie the pathogenesis of Kawasaki disease
