We confirmed that bone marrow-derived cell was derive from bone marrow in peripheral blood using fluorescence-activated cell sorting(FACS) analysis. We measured expression of c-kit and CD68 by immunohistochemistry in esophageal cancer samples. We observed the deepest invaded area, called the invasive front, c-kit+ or CD68+ BMDCs was derived from bone marrow in tumor stroma. Esophageal cancer cell line was exposed to cisplatin, IL-6 in culture supernatant was increased. We considered that BMDCs from bone marrow was related chemotherapy sensitive in tumor stromal microenvironmental.
