In late years chlorine dioxide attracts attention as disinfectant for hypochlorous acid and hydrogen peroxide. At first we examined the basic property of chlorine dioxide in this study. As a result, refrigeration temperature was suitable for safekeeping of chlorine dioxide most. In addition, the MIC was 2ppm, and the MFC was 4ppm and turned out significantly quicker in the antibacterial speed than the disinfectant mentioned.Furthermore, by the colonization method and a metabolism activity assay of the antibacterial effect on biofilm measured. As a result, it followed that chlorine dioxide significantly showed an antibacterial effect by low density.
