Mesenchymal stem cells are present in bone marrow. It have been reported that the cells have the ability to differentiate beyond the embryonic cells, such as mesoderm, endoderm and ectoderm. In jaw-oral surgery area, bone marrow fluid collected from the jaw bone can be easily, and it is expected that the cell may be used to clinical applications. In this study, to establish a method to evaluate the safety and function of cultured cells, it is amed to establish a serum-free culture system capable of maintaining the pluripotency of undifferentiated. And under the established serum-free culture, we analyze the pluripotency of mesenchymal stem cells.
