The purpose of this study were to examine the situation of lifestyle and using the health services for foreigners living in Japan, and to discuss the item which constitutes acculturation level and process for foreigners living in Japan. We found that Filipinos and Koreans living in Japan were classified their acculturation level into “integration” and “separation”, respectively. And we made the fundamental plan of theacculturation scale for foreigners living in Japan related in using the health care services. The items of the scale were classified in four categories (identity, social relations, language competence, cultural competence) and 24 subcategories.

本研究的目的是调查生活在日本的外国人的生活方式和使用医疗服务的情况，并讨论构成文化适应水平和过程的项目。研究发现，在日本生活的菲律宾人和韩国人的文化适应水平分别被分为“融合”和“分离”。并制定了在日本生活的外国人在使用医疗保健服务相关的文化适应量表的基本计划。量表的项目分为四个类别（身份，社会关系，语言能力，文化能力）和24个亚类。
