实验性自身免疫性睾丸炎（EAO）是一种证明男性不育症发展的免疫性炎症模型。我们尝试用精子和精细胞抗原免疫诱导的小鼠EAO模型研制男性避孕疫苗。结果表明，候选的18个基因中有5种蛋白足以诱导EAO。此外，我们还明确了EAO活动后炎症阶段的病理。这些结果导致了男性避孕疫苗的发展。
英文摘要
Experimental autoimmune orchitis(EAO) is a model of immunological inflammation demonstrating development of male infertility. We tried to develop the male contraceptive vaccine using murine EAO model induced by the immunization of sperm and spermatid antigens. The results showed that five kinds of protein from candidating 18 genes were adequate for induction of EAO. Moreover, we clarified the pathology of post-active inflammation stage of EAO. These results lead to the development of male contraceptive vaccine.
