ARDC’s purpose is to provide Australian researchers with competitive advantage through data, delivering access to national data collections, platforms and tools, skills and expertise, services, and compute. Its mission is to accelerate research and innovation by driving excellence in the creation, analysis and retention of high-quality data assets. ARDC is building on the success of the mission-based Translational Research Data Challenges initiative to focus investment strategically through Thematic Research Data Commons (RDCs). Thematic RDCs are a vehicle for ARDC and partners to collaboratively develop and deliver sustainable DRI on a national scale.
