Development of self-help group program to increase cancer survivorship of patients with colorectal cancer

目的：目的是开发自助小组计划，以提高结直肠癌患者的癌症存活率。方法：在早期对直肠癌低位前切除术(LAR)患者的研究基础上，探讨具体的辅助措施。我们为这样的病人开了一次病人会议。在那里，我们采访了参与者。结果：对有排便困难的患者，如出现LAR并发症，需持续支持，直至控制排便困难。特别是应该为患者提供与其他患有相同疾病的人接触的机会，并应为医疗专业人员提供交流信息和分享他们的想法的机会。

Aims: The purpose was to develop the self-help group program to increase cancer survivorship of colorectal cancer patients. Method: We examined the concrete assistance based on the earlier research on the patients who underwent low anterior resection (LAR) with the rectal cancer. We had a patient meeting for such patients. There we interviewed the participants. Results: Continuous supports were necessary for such patients with defecation troubles as the complications of the LAR until they would become to control the troubles. Particularly a chance for patients to contact with other ones with same disease and medical professionals should be provided to exchange information and to share their thoughts.
