The development of a Scale for Rating the Skills to Provide Group Reminiscence Therapy

本研究目的在于：（1）发展一个评估在护理机构或居住在护理机构的老年痴呆症患者实施回顾性方法的能力的量表（包括观察和问题）;（2）检验所发展的量表的信度和效度。本研究以问卷调查与观察量表两种形式建立其信度与效度，并认为该量表有助于实施回顾性方法的有效实施，提高老年护理服务质量。

The present study was conducted to: 1) develop a scale (including observation and questions) to assess the ability of a person implementing the retrospective method for the elderly with dementia attending or living in nursing care facilities, and 2) examine the reliability and validity of the developed scale.The scale, designed to determine a person’s skills and ability to implement the retrospective method, consisted of 27 items. Its reliability and validity were established both as a questionnaire- and observation-based scale.The scale for assessing the ability to implement the retrospective method is considered to contribute to the effective implementation of the method and improve the quality of elderly care services.
