Exploratory Research through Integration between sociology of science and history of sociology

研究了日本社会学学科间的关系网络和方法论的发展趋势。据说，日本社会学家的人口增加了，社会学家之间的分工也扩大了。然而，我们的研究表明，亚专业之间的弱相关性，通过分析日本社会学会的目录。另一方面，我们的分析结果表明，1990年前后，定性社会学增加，社会学史/理论社会学减少。

We studied on network between subspecialties and the trend of methodology in Japanese sociology. It is said that the population of Japanese sociologists has increased and the division of labor among the sociologists has been extended. Our research, however, showed that the subspecialties are weakly related to each other, through analyses of directory for Japan Sociological Society. On the other hand, the results of our analyses showed that qualitative sociology increased and history of sociology/theoretical sociology decreased around 1990.
