Development of a Compact Powered Transfer Aids

We developed a transfer aids with spread mechanism driven by motors. We developed the two kinds of spread mechanisms. One model is compact and simple mechanism. Another model is improved to make a user safer. These mechanisms are powered by motors and controlled by micro-controller. Developed transfer aids were spread with two kinds of operation system. One operation, users can spread all the transfer aids at a time automatically. The other operation, user can stop the spreads motion at any position. Only with the simple operation of the switch, wheelchair users can spreads the transfer aid easily.
