Exporing the effective dissemination strategy to enhance the literacy on preventive role of physical activity in colorectal cancer

本研究检查了日本成年人中（1）癌症信息寻求，（2）对身体活动在结肠癌预防中的作用的认识，以及（3）满足身体活动预防结肠癌的建议的患病率和相关性，为探索有效的传播策略，提高人们对体育锻炼在结肠癌预防中的作用的认识，体力活动。研究结果显示，低流行率的信息寻求癌症预防可能与低水平的认识水平的影响，体育活动对结肠癌的预防。从目前的结果来看，考虑到这些相关性的干预设计可能会更有效地提高日本成年人对体育活动与结肠癌预防相关性的认识，并促进日本成年人的体育活动。

The present study examined the prevalence and correlates of (1) cancer information seeking, (2) awareness of the role of physical activity in colon cancer prevention, and (3) meeting physical activity recommendations for colon cancer prevention among Japanese adults, in order to explore the effective dissemination strategy to enhance the literacy for preventive role of physical activity in colon cancer and incrase motivation for engaging in physical activity. The results imply that low prevalence of information seeking to cancer prevention might be related to low awareness level of the effect of physical activity on colon cancer prevention. From the present results, an intervention design that accounts for those correlates may more effectively enhance the literacy for the preventive association of physical activity with colon cancer and promote physical activity among Japanese adults.
