The role of the brain network involved in feeding behavior

我们研究了大脑中参与食物记忆回忆的信号转导通路。当人类和动物吃了一些食物后感到不适或恶心时，他们会把食物的味道当作危险的信号，并变得不喜欢这些食物。这种现象被称为条件性味觉厌恶（CTA）。在本研究中，我们发现CTA后大脑中信号转导通路的活动发生了变化，表明大脑网络的可塑性变化参与了进食行为的转变（从喜欢到不喜欢）。

We examined the signal transduction pathways in the brain involved in the recall of food memory. When human and animals eat some foods followed by malaise or nausea, they learn the taste of the foods as the signal of danger and became to dislike the foods. This phenomenon is referred to as conditioned taste aversion(CTA). In this study, we found the changes in the activities of the signal transduction pathways in the brain after CTA, suggesting that the plastic changes in the brain network are involved in the shift in feeding behavior(from like to dislike).
