Reception of Shanhaijing in Han, Wei, and Southern and Northern Dynasties Periods. Myths, and Politics and Literature

本文以文字和图像为基础，深入探讨中国最古老的地理神话著作《山海经》对汉末魏晋北方朝政治和文学的影响。例如，我们参考了一些只存在于中国周边地区的关于吉祥的记载，揭示了汉代及以后的政治局势如何将“四凤凰”从《山海经》中描述的凤凰等五种神鸟之一变成了不祥的鸟。

Based on both texts and images, we extensively examine how Shanhaijing, China's oldest mythological treatise on geography, affected politics and literature in the late Han, Wei, Jin, and Southern and Northern Dynasties Periods that underwent massive upheavals. For example, we refer to several records on auspices that are existent only in areas surrounding China, and reveal how political situations in the Han period and later transformed "four fenghuang-like birds(faming, jiaoming, sushuang and youchang)" into inauspicious birds although they used to be among five divine birds including fenghuang, which is also described in Shanhaijing.
