This study aimed to reconsider the variation of storage activities of early farming society in West Asia and to discuss the formation process of the management system of commodities as a basis of the later civilized society. To accomplish these aims, archaeological evidences from Tell el-Kerkh and other comtemporary sites were examined. Although an intensive storage activity considered as a forerunner of the civilized society was observed at Tell el-Kerkh, other evidences demonstrated that the formation of the management system of commodities was a polyphyletic process. Various management methods of commodities developed depending on diversified economic strategies in early farming society, and the later management system was extracted from these methods.

本研究旨在重新思考西亚早期农耕社会储存活动的变化，探讨作为后来文明社会基础的商品管理制度的形成过程。为了实现这些目标，研究人员检查了来自Tell el-Kerkh和其他当代遗址的考古证据。尽管人们在Tell el-Kerkh观察到一种被认为是文明社会先驱的密集储存活动，但其他证据表明，商品管理系统的形成是一个多物种的过程。早期农耕社会根据不同的经济策略发展出了各种各样的商品管理方法，后来的管理制度就是在这些方法的基础上提炼出来的。
