The Basic Study of the Landscapes of Port Towns from Medieval to Early Modern Japan

本研究探讨了世纪日本16、17世纪港口城镇景观研究的学术观点和方法。然后，本研究收集了已有的关于中世纪和近代早期港口城镇景观的研究，并选取了各个港口城镇的最高可拓性理念。港口城镇的景观受地方或区域空间结构的影响很大。因此，景观研究需要城市区位的意义和功能。

This study examines the academic viewpoints and methods of the landscapes of the port towns in the 16th and 17th century Japan. Then, this study collects the existing studies about the landscapes of medieval and early modern port towns, and choose the highest plobability ideas of the each port towns. The landecape of port towns were influenced strongly by the local or regional spatial structures. As the result, the landscape study meeds the meanings and functions of the urban location.
