To prevent a guardian for adults from abusing his authority, the procedures of the appointment and the control by a family court play an important role. We should expand the judicial infrastructure, for example, the increase of judges. On the other hand, under the Durable Power of Attorney System which is not under the direct control by the court, the person concerned must take a self-protection(e. g. plural attorney appointments). In any case extreme intervention by the court may spoil the advantage of the adult guardianship system, so the guardian' s discretion should be assured.

为了防止成年人监护人滥用职权，家庭法院的任命程序和控制发挥着重要作用。我们应该扩大司法基础设施，例如增加法官。另一方面，在不受法院直接控制的持久授权书制度下，当事人必须采取自我保护措施（例如：G.多个律师任命）。无论如何，法院的极端干预可能会破坏成年人监护制度的优势，因此应确保监护人的自由裁量权。
