Development of the Coaching Methods to Educe the "Can Do" during Technical Movement Acquisition

本研究通过一个具体的案例检验，旨在建立一种有效的教学方法，包括指导能力和动作习得过程中所需的训练策略。分析表明，教师需要具备：1)适当评估与运动学习过程有关的问题的原因的能力；2)提出许多有目的的和不同的学习目标的能力，而不是严格遵守教学手册。要培养这些教学技能，教师自己必须首先体验到与运动进程相关的运动知觉变化的实际过程，在此基础上，对学习者在运动过程中的经验进行移情分析的能力也是成功指导的关键。

The present study was conducted, through a particular case examination, to establish an effective teaching method including coaching ability along with training strategies required in the movement acquirement process. The analysis has indicated that instructors are required to have: 1) the ability to appropriately assess the cause of an issue associated with motor learning process; and 2) the ability to present a number of purposeful and various learning objectives, rather than strictly adhering to the teaching manual. With respect to cultivating these teaching skills, instructors themselves must first experience the actual process of changes in kinesthetic perception associated with progression of movement, and based on such, the ability to implement an empathetic analysis of the learner's experience during a movement is also critical for a successful coaching.
