Study on a Mathematical Model of Intellectual Productivity focusing on Temporary Pause of Intellectual Work

近年来，许多研究都是通过改善办公环境来提高上班族的智力生产率。由于这些研究都是通过认知任务来测量环境变化前后智力生产率的变化，但由于学习任务的学习效应，很难对智力生产率进行定量测量。本研究针对智力工作中“工作状态”和“暂时停顿状态”交替出现这一事实，根据受试者实验的结果，在控制环境条件和心理条件的情况下，建立了一个两态转换模型。并在此基础上提出了一种智力生产率的定量评价方法。

Lots of studies have been made to improve the intellectual productivity of office workers by improving office environment these days. Since the variation of intellectual productivity before and after the environmental change has been measured by employing cognitive tasks in these studies, it has been difficult to quantitatively measure the intellectual productivity because of the learning effect for the tasks.In this study, we focused on the fact that a "working state" and a "temporary pause state" appears alternately during intellectual work, and built a mathematical model as a two-state transition model by the results of subject experiments where environmental conditions and mental conditions were controlled. In addition, a quantitative evaluation method of intellectual productivity was developed based on the model.
