Study on knowledge flow through university/industry collaboration

建立了2004 ~ 2007年度日本国立大学研究人员发明专利的数据库。利用该数据库，分析了JNU的专利趋势，并通过分析专利说明书估计了从大学到企业的知识流动。此外，通过大规模问卷调查，明确了大学/产业研究人员的共同发明的商业化率。商业化率为16%，因企业规模而异。

The database on patents which invented by Japanese National University (JNU) researchers from FY2004 to FY2007 was constructed. Using the database, trends of JNUs' patents were analyzed, and knowledge flow from universities to firms were estimated by analyzing the patent specifications. In addition, commercialization rate of co-invention of university/industry researchers were clarified by a large-scale questionnaire survey. The commercialization rate is 16%, and varies by firm-size.
