Flaubert and the Body - Body Images in French Literature

本研究试图以世纪法国最具代表性的小说家之一福楼拜的《布瓦尔与佩库歇》为研究对象，结合同时期的知识话语，以“社团”为关键词，对福楼拜的作品进行解读。本研究通过对福楼拜的文本（包括手稿）与同时期的医学、教育学、哲学等物理知识的实证比较，揭示了一部文学作品是如何在吸收异质话语的基础上被提炼成自主作品的。

This study attempted to decipher the works of Gustave Flaubert who had been one of the most representative French novelists in nineteenth century, specifically focused on Bouvard et Pecuchet, in connection with the discourse of knowledge in the same period, with the keyword of "corporalite". This study revealed how a piece of literary work had been refined to an autonomous one absorbing heterogeneous discourses, by comparing empirically Flaubert's texts including his manuscripts with knowledge regarding physical matters in the same period such as medical science, pedagogy, philosophy, etc.
