On the formation of the phonological system IUPC (Inherited Uighur Pronunciation of Chinese)

本研究以柏林吐鲁番文书中的U 5335为研究对象，同时也对其他几种回鹘文汉文文书进行了研究。包括U 5335在内的大多数文本以前都没有研究过。本文通过对回鹘音文字的分析，明确了回鹘音语音系统的形成过程，即由10世纪的回鹘音语音“原系统”<th>逐渐发展到元代的回鹘音语音“简、精系统”。本研究通过对Sho^^-gaito 1994提出的IUPC系统的验证，有助于全面描述汉语语音遗传的形成和发展。

In this research project, we studied on the U5335 text from the Berlin Turfan Collection and also on several other texts in Chinese written by Uighur script. Most of the texts including U5335 had not been studied before. We analyzed the texts written by the IUPC (Inherited Uighur Pronunciation of Chinese) and made clear the process of the formation of the phonological system of IUPC, where the “proto-system” of inherited Uighur pronunciation of Chinese in the 10^<th> century had developed gradually to the simplified and refined one in the Yuan Dynasty. This study contributes to comprehensive description of the formation and the development of the inherited pronunciation of Chinese by verifying the IUPC system proposed in Sho^^-gaito 1994.
