In this research project, we studied on the U5335 text from the Berlin Turfan Collection and also on several other texts in Chinese written by Uighur script. Most of the texts including U5335 had not been studied before. We analyzed the texts written by the IUPC (Inherited Uighur Pronunciation of Chinese) and made clear the process of the formation of the phonological system of IUPC, where the “proto-system” of inherited Uighur pronunciation of Chinese in the 10^<th> century had developed gradually to the simplified and refined one in the Yuan Dynasty. This study contributes to comprehensive description of the formation and the development of the inherited pronunciation of Chinese by verifying the IUPC system proposed in Sho^^-gaito 1994.

在本研究项目中，我们研究了柏林吐鲁番藏书中的U5335文本以及其他几个维吾尔文手写的中文文本。包括U5335在内的大多数文本以前都没有被研究过。通过对维吾尔语汉语拼音文本的分析，揭示了汉语维吾尔语汉语语音系统的形成过程，即由10世纪汉语维吾尔语继承语音的“原型系统”逐渐发展到元代的简化、提炼语音系统。本研究通过对Sho^^-Gaito 1994年提出的IUPC系统的验证，有助于全面描述汉语继承语音的形成和发展。
