项目摘要

This research project aimed to design education system from a macroeconomic viewpoint considering both the role of education and the existence of fiscal relation between governments. To achieve this objective, (1) we surveyed how education works in the mechanism of human capital accumulation in the models of dynamic macroeconomics; (2) for investigating whether it reflects the real situation, we conducted an interview for teachers in elementary schools; and (3) we studied the effect of the supply of education either by the federal government or by both the federal and the state governments on economic growth. We succeeded to provide our findings and policy implications by either publishing papers and books or giving a presentation at the seminar for each research.

本研究的目的是从宏观经济的角度，考虑教育的作用和政府间的财政关系，设计教育制度。为了达到这一目的，我们（1）在动态宏观经济学的模型中考察了教育在人力资本积累机制中的作用，（2）为了考察它是否反映了真实的情况，我们对小学教师进行了访谈;以及（3）我们研究了由联邦政府或由联邦和州政府共同提供教育对经济增长的影响。我们通过发表论文和书籍或在研讨会上就每项研究发表演讲，成功地提供了我们的研究结果和政策含义。
