Similarity measures of surfaces of shoe lasts represented by point cloud

为了制造一双适合个人的鞋子，有必要为他们准备鞋跟。如果制造商能够在最后的库存中找到合适的最后一件，而不是制造一件并重复使用，将显著降低制造成本和时间。为此，提出了鞋帮曲面的相似度量。鞋帮表面不同于一般物体的表面，它具有一些重要的横截面形状，这些形状是由它从人的脚开始设计的过程决定的。我利用这些横截面形状，通过比较3D扫描仪获得的最后两个点云形状之间的对应形状，来开发相似性度量。

In order to manufacture a pair of shoes fitted to individuals, it is necessary to prepare shoe lasts for them. If the manufacturer could find a suitable last among the last stock instead of making one and reuse it, the manufacturing cost and time will reduce remarkably. Therefore I proposed similarity measures of curved surfaces of shoe lasts. The surfaces of shoe lasts are, unlike those of general objects, have some important cross-sectional shapes which are determined by the design process of it from human foot. I utilized these cross-sectional shapes to develop the similarity measures by comparing the corresponding shapes between the two last shapes of point cloud obtained by a 3D scanner.
