The characteristics of the new grape cultivar which can be grown normally in asubtropical regions

在日本西南部温暖的地方，一些葡萄经常引起变色。与变色有关的酶最适宜的温度是25摄氏度，而葡萄皮的变色开始于一年中温度较高的时期。由于大多数葡萄品种需要一定的降温时间来打破芽休眠，因此亚热带地区的葡萄产业发展并不好。因此，在冲绳县和香川县对卡达努R-1葡萄新品种的性状进行了研究，因为该品种是日本野生品种琉球葡萄的后代，它没有芽休眠，即使在高温条件下也具有优越的显色性。以‘卡达努R-1’和‘琉球加尼布’为材料，研究了普通四倍体品种的离体染色体加倍方法。迄今为止，雄龙球茎尖的培养还没有成功，这是我第一次可以再生植株。

Some grapes often cause a coloration disorder in southwest warm places in Japan. The most suitable temperature of the enzyme related to the coloration is 25 degrees Celsius, and the coloration of the grape skin begins at the higher temperature period in the year. As most cultivars require some chilling hours for breaking bud dormancy, a grape industry did not develop in the subtropical area well. Therefore the characteristics of the new grape cultivar 'kadainou R-1' was investigated in Okinawa and Kagawa, because this cultivar is the progeny of Japanese wild species Ryuukyuuganebu which has no bud dormancy and is superior in the coloration even under the high temperature condition.The methodology of in vitro chromosome doubling was examined for improving common tetraploid cultivars with 'Kadainou R-1' and Ryuukyuuganebu. The shoot tip culture of male Ryuukyuuganebu has not been successful so far, and I could regenerate the plantlets for the first time.
