Research on the Poverty of Women in International Marriages

近年来，东亚地区越来越多的婚姻移民者(MIW)的多样化需求要求东道国社会扩大对他们的支持。本研究以韩国工信部的就业援助为研究对象。研究发现，这种特殊的援助是由政府的积极政策和财政安排促成的。它建议，如果就业援助的对象扩大到其家庭成员，则可进一步促进妇女和妇女的社会参与，第三部门(非营利组织、社会企业等)。可以在为MIW和包容性社会提供一站式援助的建设中发挥关键作用。

In recent years,the diversified needs of the increased number of marriage immigrantwomen (MIW) in East Asia require expansion of support for them in host society. This research focuses upon job assistance for MIW in South Korea. It finds that the particular assistance is contributed to by government's active policies and financial arrangements. It suggests that the social participation by MIW could be facilitated further if the target of job assistance extends to their family members, and that the third sector (NPO,Social Enterprise, etc.) could be a key player in the buildings of one-stop assistance for MIW and an inclusive society.
