This study aimed to develop a new assessment tool for reviewing the progress of public health nurse (PHN) support for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and their families. Specific items for the assessment tool were extracted from the literature on PHN support for children with ASD and their families and from data obtained from a group interview with nine PHNs with at least 5 years of work experience. An assessment tool constituted of 9 main categories was eventually developed. The assessment tool was mailed to 26 PHNs across Japan, who were asked to respond to its items. Data were analyzed using SPSS Text Analytics for Surveys, and validity of the assessment tool was evaluated. We believe this new tool constitutes a valuable contribution in enhancing the effects of for caring children with ASD and supporting their families.

本研究旨在开发一种新的评估工具，用于评估公共卫生护士(PHN)对自闭症谱系障碍(ASD)儿童及其家庭的支持进展情况。评估工具的具体项目摘自关于对患有自闭症儿童及其家庭的初级保健护士的支持的文献，以及从对9名具有至少5年工作经验的初级保健护士进行的集体访谈中获得的数据。最终开发了一个由9个主要类别组成的评估工具。该评估工具被邮寄给日本各地的26个PHN，他们被要求对其项目做出回应。使用SPSS文本分析软件对调查数据进行分析，并对评估工具的效度进行评价。我们认为，这一新工具是对加强儿童自闭症儿童护理和支持其家庭的效果的宝贵贡献。
