A New Assessment Tool for Reviewing the Progress of Public Health Nurse Support for Children with Autism Spectrum Disoders

本研究旨在建立一个新的评估工具，回顾公共卫生护士对自闭症谱系障碍儿童及其家庭的支持进展。评估工具的具体项目摘自关于私家护士对自闭症儿童及其家庭的支持的文献，以及对9名至少有5年工作经验的私家护士进行小组访谈获得的数据。最后制定了一个由9个主要类别组成的评估工具。评估工具被邮寄给日本各地的26个phn，他们被要求对其项目做出回应。使用SPSS文本分析软件对数据进行分析，并对评估工具的有效性进行评估。我们相信这个新工具在加强对自闭症儿童的照顾和支持他们的家庭方面做出了宝贵的贡献。

This study aimed to develop a new assessment tool for reviewing the progress of public health nurse (PHN) support for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and their families. Specific items for the assessment tool were extracted from the literature on PHN support for children with ASD and their families and from data obtained from a group interview with nine PHNs with at least 5 years of work experience. An assessment tool constituted of 9 main categories was eventually developed. The assessment tool was mailed to 26 PHNs across Japan, who were asked to respond to its items. Data were analyzed using SPSS Text Analytics for Surveys, and validity of the assessment tool was evaluated. We believe this new tool constitutes a valuable contribution in enhancing the effects of for caring children with ASD and supporting their families.
