项目摘要

本年度は、国内企業の環境技術イノベーションに関する要因分析と、自動車業界における燃費技術普及の要因分析を行った。1.産業組織論における競争とイノベーションとの理論・実証研究の先行研究であるAghion et al(2005)(以後ABBGH)の再検証を行った。用いたデータは、ABBGHと同様の国内企業の特許出願数データと産業データである。分析期間は1964年から2006年で、分析対象は製造業・非製造業含めた60産業である。競争変数は、プライスコストマージン指標のラーナー指数を用いた。研究結果は以下の通りである。まず内生性を考慮しない場合、ABBGH同様に競争とイノベーションとの間に逆U字がみられた。次に技術格差の発散仮説については、支持されなかった。加えて、ABBGH同様に内生性を考慮した場合、操作変数の選択により、逆U字の関係が不安定であることが示された。本研究は、環境経済・政策学会2012年大会で口頭発表し、学位論文第2章に掲載した。2.ガソリン燃費に関して、ガソリン価格とガソリン税制の増減が平均ガソリン燃費にどのように影響するかについて分析した。これは、環境技術が外生変数の影響でどのように普及するかの研究である。分析期間は1981年から1989年である。車両データとしては初度登録年別車両保有台数と自動車諸元表を用いた。分析結果として、ガソリン価格が消費者の新車購入や廃棄の決定を通じて平均燃費に与える影響はほとんどなかった。一方で、自動車保有税・重量税が新車購入や廃棄に与える影響は大きかった。本研究は、学位論文第4章に掲載した。本年度はデータベースの作成と環境技術革新と普及の要因分析を主に行い、研究はおおむね順調に進展した。研究成果は国内学会口頭発表1回、学位論文1本である。

This year, we conducted an analysis of the key factors related to environmental technology development in domestic enterprises and the key factors related to the popularization of fuel technology in the automotive industry. 1. A preliminary study of industrial organization theory and practice (Aghion et al, 2005)(later ABBGH) The number of franchises issued by domestic enterprises of the same kind as ABBGH The analysis period is from 1964 to 2006, and the analysis is based on manufacturing and non-manufacturing industries.
