平成24年度は、平成23年度中に収集した自死遺族24名分のインタビューデータについて、グラウンデッド・セオリー法を用いた分析を実施し、その結果に基づいた研究成果発表および修正を行った。【分析】グラウンデッド・セオリー法におけるオープン・コーディングでは逐語録化した面接データを繰り返し読み、分析者が重要だと考える箇所は一行ごとにコード化を行った。アクシャル・コーディングでは作成したカテゴリ、ディメンションとプロパティを参考にしながらパラダイムを作成し、パラダイムに沿ってストーリーラインを書くとともにコアカテゴリを選定し、コアカテゴリが見つからない場合にはオープン・コーディングから再分析した。日本語の使用においては重要な情報伝達手段に含まれる、非言語的コミュニケーションの観察や面接中の直観的な印象も分析対象とした。非言語情報を分析する過程では面接場面や筆者が受けた印象の詳細を記述したフィールドノートを読み返し活用した。【結果】分析の結果、本研究では、死別後感情を調節し日常生活と折り合いをつける過程を説明する枠組みを3部に分けて説明した。各部はそれぞれ(1)死別後の日常生活、(2)情報を収集して、感情を調節する過程を進める、(3)死別後の感情を調整するに至る過程、と概念化した。【意義】考察 本研究の主な結果である、故人-遺族間の関係が死別後も継続し遺族の人生に関わり続けることは先行研究でcontinuing bondsと概念化されているが、対象者の文化、死別の文脈を考慮して理論化したことに大きな意義があると考えている。
