项目摘要

本研究の目的は、(1)現代琉球語における係り結びの理解過程や、(2)現代日本語において係り結びと類似した特性を持つと考えられる諸構文の理解過程の検討を通じ、(3)古典日本語における係り結びの理解過程を推測的に明らかにすることである1,その方法として、言語理解中の脳波の分析(特に、事象関連電位の分析)を採用している。(1)について:本年度は、現代琉球語係り結びの理解過程に関する脳波実験の準備として、琉球語実験文を4組計200文作成した。琉球語の実験文はこれまで一度も作成されたことがないことから、このこと自体、本研究の成果の一つであると言える.,(2)について:現代日本語諸構文の理解過程の検討のひとつとして、日本語のシカナイ構文を対象とする脳波実験を実施した。シカナイ構文は、「大輔は机しか運ばなかった。」のような文であるが、助詞「シカ」が否定の文末形態「ナイ」を要求するという特性を持っている。このような依存関係は、係助詞が特定の文末形態(連体形や已然形)を要求することと相似的である。シカナイ構文を理解する際の脳波を分析した結果、この構文の理解においては「認可の2段階処理モデル」が機能していることが示唆された。二段階処理モデルとは、助詞シカの入力後、文末形態を探索する第一プロセスを経て、文末の否定形態素が助詞シカを認可する第二プロセスに至ると考える文理解モデルである。シカナイ構文と同様の依存関係を古典日本語係り結びも持っていたとすれば、古典的係り結びも同様のプロセスを経て理解されていたと考えられる。(3)について:これまで、係り結びがどのように理解されていたのか、ということに関してはいかなる提案もなされていなかったが、本研究の実施により初めて具体的な理解モデルを提起することができたと言える。

The objectives of this study are: (1) the understanding process of modern Ryukyu language;(2) the exploration of the understanding process of modern Japanese language structures;(3) the exploration of the understanding process of classical Japanese language structures;(4) the exploration of the understanding process of modern Ryukyu language structures; and (5) the analysis of language waves in speech understanding.(Special, event-related potential analysis).
