本研究では、平安中期家集の表現と配列方法の変遷と、それによる作品内世界構築の実態を明らかにするため、25年度は『忠見集』『馬内侍集』を調査対象として研究を進めた。『忠見集』は西本願寺本、歌仙家集本、書陵部本(510・12)の比較を行った。表現では、西本願寺本が代表的な伝本ではあるが、他本の方が助詞を伴って分かりやすい本文である場合や、具体的に書かれている箇所が見られた。それは他本が本文を改め、西本願寺本の方が古態を残している可能性も考えられるため、さらに精査する必要がある。配列では、西本願寺本と歌仙歌集本は前半には公的な歌が、後半には私的な歌が配列されていることに特徴がある。この配列方法は『中務集』とも類似し、私家集の配列方法の一つのパターンといえる点で注目される。書陵部本の配列は上記の二本とは大きく異なり、歌合歌や恋愛歌を意識的に抜いて、歌をグループ化して配列した編纂方法である。これは前年度に調査した『信明集』の三類本が、一類本の配列を改編し恋愛歌に注目した独自の物語家集を形作っていたことに類似した現象である。特定の内容を意図した配列によって、作者の人物像や人生に焦点を当て、新たに作品世界を作る編纂方法であり、同時代私家集への影響も含めて極めて重要である。『馬内侍集』は三手文庫本(契沖筆)系統、御所本、水野家旧蔵本がある。三手文庫本が諸本の中で書写年代が最も古く、原型に近い形を伝えていると考えられる。配列は、詠歌状況に関連性がない歌であっても言葉の繋がりを意識した類聚的な配列で、歌群や歌同士を円滑に繋げようという意図が見られる。『紫式部集』や『伊勢大輔』などの同時代の女性私家集にも共通する配列方法であり、年代順配列から独自の配列意図による連想や類聚による構成方法へと変遷する特徴の一つとして捉えられる点で重要である。
