项目摘要

本研究は、フランスの哲学者ジャック・デリダにおける時間の問題を主に検討することを通して、デリダの思想の新たな総体的な解釈を提示することを目指すとともに、彼が時間という伝統的な問題系をいかに刷新したのかということを明らかにすることを目的としている。本年度は当初予定を若干変更し、引き続きデリダのテクストの内在的読解に重点を置き、デリダにおける時間の問題の総体的把握を目指した。具体的には以下の諸点について研究を実施し、その成果の一部を論文および口頭発表を通して公表した。1、60年代中ごろのデリダのテクストを分析することを通して、「痕跡」という彼独自の概念と時間の問題との関係について検討し、この概念の導入により、時間の異質性や非連続性が論じられていることを明らかとした。デリダは、統一性へといたることのない「異質な時間」とでもいうべきものを思考しようとしているとの結論に至った。2、後期デリダにおける時間の議論の中心にあると考えられている「未来」の問題に取り組むため、デリダにおける「終末論」の概念を検討した。彼の議論にはいくつかの明確な変化が見出されるものの、時間の非目的論的な異質性や他性といったテーマを現在性に対置しているという点においては一貫性が認められることを明らかとした。3、「ウーシアとグランメー」や『弔鐘』といったテクストを検討し、デリダが既存の時間概念とは異なる新たな時間概念を提示することの不可能性を主張していることを示した。また、この観点から本研究のこれまでの成果を総括することが目指され、本年度の1や2の研究にて確認されたデリダの時間に関する思索は、新たな時間概念や時間論としてではなく、時間の残余や時間の贈与という問題との連関から理解されなければならないという結論に至った。
