Electrostatically charged cement particles could be synthesized by the simple method; Charged cement solidification. Voltage potential differences were ranged from 1 to 12 mV, which was lower than the target value (100 mV). Electrolytically-generated gas inhibited continuous contact between the electrode and cement materials, and thus decreased charging efficiency.Electrostatically charged parts were pulverized and their mineralogical compositions were analyzed by XRD. Elemental iron was found in particular in positive-charged parts. Further study is necessary to indentify certain minerals which contributed to electrostatic charge.
