In the process of the surface modification diamond with layered ferrimagnetism, diamond 110 surface was heated through the diamond body by condenced infrared rays irradiation forcused on manganese powder at the diamond interface. The modified diamond surface at 450 degree Celsius had a metallic luster, and in the case of modified at 550 degree Celsius, the modified diamond surface had some finges. As a result, The Mn7C3 and Mn5C2 peakes were observed on the X-ray diffraction pattern for the dimond 110 specimen heated at 550 celsius degree. By a Hall effect device, the magnetic flux of modified diaond were measured at room temperature and low temperature(-3 degree Celsius). However, the measured values were not stable. From the results of VSM measurement, the modified diamond had saturated mangetization of 20 micron emu at room temperature.
