The cilia-associated respiratory bacillus (CARB), a gram-negative extracellular bacterium, causes chronic respiratory disease in rodents. In this research, we got full genome sequence of CARB (about 1.44 Mbp long with around 1,200 coding sequences). Using this information, we also designed custom DNA array chip to analyze CARB's RNA expression when CARB attached to and grown on epithelial cells in vitro.

纤毛相关呼吸杆菌(CARB)是一种革兰氏阴性胞外细菌，可引起啮齿动物的慢性呼吸道疾病。在本研究中，我们获得了CARB的全基因组序列(全长约1.44Mbp，约1200个编码序列)。利用这些信息，我们还设计了定制的DNA阵列芯片来分析CARB在体外附着和生长在上皮细胞上时CARB的RNA表达。
