Screening of novel fatty acid metabolism and development of the process for useful material production

我选择了将（E）-2-甲基-2-丁烯酸（惕各酸，TGLA）转化为（S）-2-甲基丁酸（S-2 MBA）的微生物。发现该反应由三个反应组成。因此，我筛选了微生物来催化这些反应。使用选定的微生物，S-2 MBA的生产得到了改善。我选择了将C14脂肪酸的羧基还原为相应醇的微生物，并从该反应的更详细的分析中，我鉴定了将CoA形式的C14脂肪酸转化为相应醛的酶。

I selected the microorganism which converted (E)-2-methyl-2-butenoic acid (tiglic acid, TGLA) to (S)-2-methylbutyric acid (S-2MBA). This reaction was found to be consisted of three reactions. Therefore, I screened the microorganisms to catalyze these reactions each other. Using selected microorganisms, S-2MBA production was improved.I selected the microorganism which reduced the carboxyl group of C14 fatty acid to the corresponding alcohol, and from the more detailed analysis of this reaction, I was identified an enzyme that converted CoA form of C14 fatty acid to the corresponding aldehyde.
