Social and Economic Geographical Research about the Land Ownership in Urban Areas

The purpose of this study is to analyze the process of the formation and the change in urban areas from the viewpoint of land ownership. The following are significant outcomes that resulted from this study:(1) The structure of land ownership in Okazaki and Nanzenji area, Kyoto-city, has been maintained stably because the land owners of this area have attached importance to own their lands a long time.(2) In the area around JR Osaka station, a part of deals of the lands of this area were conducted between the network of the particular businessmen.
