An Empirical Study of the regional financial association in Early Modern Japan

本研究的目的在于厘清近代早期日本农区地方金融协会的结构。我们确认，持久的互助金融协会“Eizoku-ko”成立于日本新野Chisagata地区的上盐尻村。由于区域市场的活跃，许多蚕卵商人居住在上盐尻村，并组织了许多相互金融协会。

The purpose of this research is that we clarify the structure of the local financial associaton in farming area in Early Modern Japan.We confirmed that the lasting mutual financial assciations 'Eizoku-ko' were founded in Kami-shiojiri village, Chisagata district, Shinano, Japan. For the regional market was active, many silkworm egg merchants lived in Kami-shiojiri village, and many mutual financial associations were organized.
