The research of Life-log system for persons with disabilities and elderly persons

在过去几十年中，日本就残疾人和老年人的生活进行了大量研究。但是，很少有人注意将日志实际用于老年人和残疾人本身。我们讨论我们的平板媒体残疾人和老年人的通信辅助系统。我们的系统有两个功能：（1）语音识别系统的记录，（2）显示照片和象形图，使字幕一致。我们的性能测试结果清楚地表明，我们的系统非常有用，以协助残疾人和老年人的沟通。我们可以正确地看待生活日志媒体的新影响以及残疾人和老年人生活水平的变化。

Over the past few decades, a considerable number of studies have been conducted on the logging the lives for persons with disabilities and elderly persons in Japan. But little attention has been given to put the logs to practical use for elderly and PWD themselves. We discuss our communication assist system by Tablet-media persons with disabilities and elderly persons. Our system has two functions: (1) Logging by a speech recognition system, (2) Showing the photographs and pictograms homologized the captions.The results of our performance tests clearly showed that our system was very helpful in order to assist the communication persons with disabilities and elderly persons. We can put in perspective the novel effect for the Life-Log media and changes of the standard of living of persons with disabilities and elderly persons.
