Cross-sectional study of body dysmorphic concern across the life-span.

身体畸形关注被定义为对他们感知到的外表缺陷的强烈关注和关注，过度的检查和伪装，以及社交回避和寻求安慰。本研究的目的是探讨身体畸形关注在整个生命周期中的发展变化。结果表明：(1)身体畸形关注的因素结构在各年龄段具有普遍性；(2)高度畸形关注的身体部位存在年龄和性别差异；(3)青少年身体畸形关注的认知-行为模型在不同代际的应用有待考虑。

Body dysmorphic concern was defined as an intense concern and a preoccupation with their perceived appearance flaws, excessive checking and camouflaging of them, and social avoidance and reassurance seeking. The aim of this study was to investigate developmental changes of body dysmorphic concern across the life-span. The results revealed that as follows: (1) factor structure of body dysmorphic concern was common in all ages, (2) there were some differences between ages and sexes about body parts with high dysmorphic concern, (3) applications of cognitive-behavioral model of body dysmorphic concern for adolescence to various generations left room for consideration.
