Social interest in community safety design, for the purpose of improving urban crime prevention, is increasing. Efficient planning supported by scientific analysis is required by those on the front line of community safety design. To address this problem, our research aims to develop a crime risk assessment technique, involving evaluation of the crime risk in a given area, to aid in judging the necessity of introducing community safety design measures. Specifically, the research examines the following three methodologies: (1) identification of crime hazards, (2) calculation of crime risk, and (3) evaluation of crime risk.

为了改善城市犯罪预防，社会对社区安全设计的兴趣正在增加。在社区安全设计的第一线，需要有科学分析支持的有效规划。为了解决这个问题，我们的研究旨在开发一种犯罪风险评估技术，涉及在一个给定的区域的犯罪风险的评估，以帮助判断引入社区安全设计措施的必要性。具体而言，本研究考察了以下三种方法：（1）识别犯罪危害，（2）计算犯罪风险，（3）评估犯罪风险。
