Sarcoidosis is a chronic multi-systemic inflammatory disorder. In this study, to identify susceptibity genes of sarcoidosis, we performed a genome-wide association study of sarcoidosis using Japanese and Czech populations. This study identified a genetic region showing a genome-wide significance (P<5E-8).
